I would have to say yes because a gecko eats ants so i guess they like them to?
They eat crickets, grasshoppers, beetles, spiders, insects and other geckos, cockroaches, termites, ants, slaters, mealworms and larvae.
On the islands of New Caledonia, withing the pines of Isle De Pins, the crested geckos top predator are fire ants. These insects have a somewhat toxic sting and travel in numbers by the thousands. If anything crosses the fire ants path, they are an easy target. Crested geckos often find themselves in a small shrub or bush while a group of fire ants are in midst of a raid and make a quick and easy meal of them.
things like lizard, bearded dragons, and other types of geckos like fat- tailed geckos
Yes the are they are just like other geckos.
I would not recommend you feeding your gecko black ants.. You do not know where they have been and they may have pesticides on them that can cause the gecko to get sick... Stick to crickets or mealworms
Geckos love to be nice and warm, make sure the gecko drinks room temperature.
Crickets, ants, grasshoppers, locust, beetles, larvae, moths, butterfly's, anthropods, spiders, scorpions etc.
Geckos mostly eat small insects and bugs like crickets.
Geckos do not have a hard exterior skeleton or a shell for protection. Nor can these animals change color, their only defence is their speed. Most geckos move very slow to ensure a predator does not see them. If spotted they could be eaten by: Mammals, other reptiles, birds of prey, snakes, large spiders, centipedes, fire ants etc..
Geckos and turtles are not species capable of co existing within the same terrarium.
Usually in/around deserts like afganistan. By leopard geckos.
All geckos, like snakes, have fused eyelids that make them unable to blink. To clean their eyeballs geckos lick them with protrusible notched tongues.
