We have actual samples of rocks and soil from the moon. But no samples have ever been retrieved by astronauts from a planet other than our own, and no human being has ever handled them. An exception, of course, are meteorites that originated on other planets, and landed on Earth on their own accord. Any samples of rock or soil
on another planet that were ever "handled" were done so by a robot lander that was sent to the
planet, and the results were sent back to Earth by radio.
