Start looking for a pattern with the lip biting. Everyone smiles so he could like you but also could just be him smiling... Lip biting could be nervousness from liking you or could just be a habit he always does. Start paying attention.. does he do it when he's nervous (like if someone compliments him)? does he do it when he's concentrating or thinking (like in class)? does he do it when he's talking to other girls? does he do it when hes talking to other guys? does he only do it when he talks to really pretty/popular girls? There's gotta be a pattern to it....
