My little girl always sleeps in panties or bloomers, not just when she's "got her friend staying." This is because her nighties are quite short and she wants to make sure she's always decent. She always showers and puts clean underwear on the next day before school.
Most girls will not sleep with a bra on, as they can be quite uncomfortable.
