When you're up close with a guy you like, in a tank top you can rub your sleeveless arms against him, and that's a turn on. Tank tops are also nice and comfortable to wear when you have to get a tetanus shot because the tetanus needle has to stick in your deltoid muscle up high by the shoulder, and of course in a tank top your deltoid muscle is nice and easy for the doctor or nurse to get at with the needle. And when you're really hot and sweaty, in a tank your sweat doesn't make a mess of your top under your arms, and you can raise your arms and let cool breezes dry your armpits a bit. Hooray for tank tops!
