Goats are not working farm animals; like sheep and chickens, they are raised for food rather than for doing work. Although in some countries goats are used to drag small carts and are used as pack animals to carry things on their backs.
Dog kennels work great for goats. Even those plastic dog igloos work! They can't completely live in them, but it makes a good shelter for a single goat.
You have to show your parents that you're responsible. Taking care of goats is a big responsibility and a lot of hard work.
