Healthy goldfish will always be hungry and eager for food.
Yes all fish will stop eating when they have had enough. It is impossible to overfeed goldfish because they do not over eat. It is not hard to put too much food in their tank or pond because they do not eat very much. If you do this the fish will not eat it all so the left over food will go rotten and poison the water.
no goldfish can't shrink, but they do grow with their tank, and if you move a goldfish to a smaller tank, it might suffocate or even jump out of the tank if there isn't a lid
if you feed it to much it will =]
True
feed it more often
Yes a goldfish will stop eating when it has had enough. I advise giving the fish only as much as they can eat in 15 minutes. What is meant when people refer to "not overfeeding fish" is that once a fish is full any left over food if not removed will rot in the tank and poison the water resulting in dead fish.
eat it with vegetables.
Goldfish will eat themselves to death. They never get the feeling of being "full", do not over feed your goldfish just a pinch a day is all it needs.
You stop eating.
Question is unclear.. Do Goldfish like eating worms? Do Goldfish get worms from eating to much? Or are you meaning another form of Question? Any-who take a guess at your question.
Goldfish are naturally attracted to rotting fins, so if your goldfish has rotting fins get a cure for it or change your water. Or, in the other case, if that goldfish is bullying its tankmate, move the bully or victim to another tank or return the bully to the pet store.
no they should stop eating when they are full
Yesh.
My friend had the same problem. Her dad thinks (and we think) that the tails on the fantail are small and colorful, and so they look like goldfish food. Hope this helps!
Probably the best thing to do is ignore it. He will only be doing it for attention and would most likely stop if he got no attention. If that fails I would just shake my head at him and smile pittyingly as if to say "Wow! What a looser to have to eat a live goldfish to gain some attention."
