Very few true Goths cut themselves. There are self-harmers, depressed people, and evil people in every subculture, not just Goth.
Edit: I'm sorry but I think you're mistaking those for emotional people, also to the first person to answer It deeply concerns me that you would think of them as evil, they are just people who look at the world in a different point of veiw. Just because you do not understand it does not mean it is evil.
Edit2: I didn't say self-harmers are evil. I'm just disproving a couple other stereotypes.

IM goth and know so many other goths we don't cut our selfs that stupid emo!! Goths don't complain about stuff and wine we deal with are stuff head-on and we don't give a2 cents what others want from us that is why goths are better then emos who the heck wants to be a winy emo just go the next step and be goth !!

Nobody made themselves goths, they are being themselves, which is goth.
