yes, there are a few they can catch.
Pigs only get diseases from u...lol
Get your guinea pig out a little more. But not to much but just enough there not scared or get a disease i dont know if guinea pigs can get a disease from that but my gerbel got wet tail from holding him to much but enough that it is use to people.
They probably won't let you because your guinea pig might be carrying a disease that you do not know of.
No theres not many diseases in guinea pigs, you'll mainly find the wild ones will have more chance of carrying a disease,
Not normally unless they have a disease on there feet in which a vet/doctor has to remove it. Guinea pigs can 'chip' there toe nails as a human does but it eventually grows back. hope this helped!
No!!!!!!!They are actually part of the rodent family.
Actually, guinea pigs are among the best animals for sick people at all, since they are practically unable to give you any disease (the only disease they can give is a sort of skin condition which is curable in a few days, and this disease only happens to guinea pigs who have not been held properly). A short haired guinea pig, best would be two (its the same effort and cost almost, and guinea pigs are very sad when alone), and the right choice of litter. There are many types of litter, so choose what has the least dust, try a few sorts out.
No.
I have three
Not sure, but guinea pigs aren't type of pigs. They're in the rodents family, and NOT pigs. Hope this helped?
No. Gerbils produce gerbils and guinea pigs produce guinea pigs
Male Guinea Pigs are called Boars, female Guinea Pigs are called Sows, and babby Guinea Pigs are called Pups. A group of Guinea Pigs is called a Herd. :)
