True hermaphrodites do have the sex organs of both sexes, but this is an extremely rare condition.
Most "hermaphrodites" are actually females with an over-developed clitoris. If an adult female takes large amounts of testosterone her clitoris will increase in size , up to 5-7 cm, and take on the appearance of a penis. Occasionally a female foetus is exposed to an abnormal amount of testosterone in the womb, and is born with a full-size penis and a vagina, but only a true hermaphrodite will have testicles AND ovaries. Only one set of these will be dominant though, and the other set will be atrophied.
Hermaphrodites don't actually usually have both ovaries and testicles, so generally, no, they can't. if that is so then why can snails lay egg and produce off spring
A hermaphrodite either has testicles and a vagina or has a penis of ovaries. It is a common misconception that hermaphrodites own both genitalia. Therefore, they cannot urinate out of both genitalia.
