They do. They kinda suck on the sponge.
no they can not.
Hermit crabs dip their big claw in and drink drop of water on it.
You can bathe your hermies in hermit crab salt which you can find at petsmart.also if you have small crabs put a sponge in the water dish the water temp should be 60 to 70 degress.ps I've been raising hermit crabs for 30 years in my old crab is 30 years old
salt water.
yes i am pretty sure i have never saw them drinking out of anything else just put a little bit of bottle water in a shell with a sponge and the sponge will soak up the water and they will drink it never give them tap water
when it's not fully dry , but a little wet.
Don't do that! Hermit crabs may get out of their shell to change into a new shell or even get out to eat some lettuce or drink water from a water absorbed sponge. During that process who knows what the hamsters would do to the hermit crab. They're not meant to be in the same cage!
Yes they can. That's why you have a sponge or something in their water bowl so they don't drown.
They live in the ocean - it would be a little difficult to drink freshwater.
A lot
Yes but you use a sponge and leave it there and it will use its long mouth to drink it.
No, Hermit Crabs are omnivores.
