This is what it should look like. The mackeral are about 15-20ft down and remeber that mackeral swim in schools so when you catch one then get it off keep it, let it go and PUT YOU JIG BACK IN THE OCEAN. By the way the mackeral are about 1-2mi away from the shoreline.
