What dangers do hippos face?

Hippos are between the most fearless animals- actually they are only afraid of lion prides and elephants. A lion pride can take down any animal, except from a big bull elephant. Elephants move hippos out of their way, whether they meet on land or in the river. There are videos in YouTube with elephants and hippos, where it is shown that elephants make hippos run away. One of these videos shows a single bull elephant that gets in the river and separates a whole herd of hippos in two, as it passes through the hippos and all of them move aside without daring to attack. And this is impressive because male hippos are extremely territorial and aggressive. Hippos are not afraid of crocodiles (actually they often kill crocodiles). Cape buffalo also runs from a hippo, when a hippo opens its giant mouth and charges straight forward at the buffalo. Even a white rhino backs off when a hippo decides to charge at it, even if they meet in land face to face. For all these interactions described between hippos and these animals (crocodile, cape buffalo, white rhino and more) there are related videos in youtube that prove them. Also, a hippo is not afraid of snakes, as its thick skin protects it from the snake. Generally speaking, a hippo is fearless due to its powerful physical structure.
