And home health services pay much more for their aids.... some places will pay you up to $28 an hour. If you're getting min wage for being an aid then I would look else were for a job or look for a new career. Most states, in the northeast anyway, usually start aids off at around $10 an hour. Hospitals or home health will pay more.
