No, humans dont help sharks. Many nations hunt sharks for food (e.g. cutting the dorsal fin off and throwing the still living shark back into the water) or because of unjustified hate. The movie "The white shark" shows sharks as a race of human-killing monsters, which is not only wrog, it lead sharks to the edge of extermination.
