You need both medical and license
I'm not sure of any minimum age restrictions, but it's a bit pointless to get if you're under 18... you need a DOT medical card for any vehicle requiring a CDL, and for any CMV with a GVW of 10,001 - 26,000 lbs. operating across state lines. In PA, you can't do either at 16 or 17.You don't need a permit or a license to actually get a medical card.
In most places you need a Chauffeurs permit AKA a hack license (same like taxi drivers) in florida you do not need a special license until you transport over 12 people or drive a bus/shuttle but you do need the hack permit which is issued on the county level.
While every hospital has its own procedures, you generally need to show some form of identification, such as a driver's license or State ID card. You also generally need to show whether or not you have medical insurance, by showing your medical insurance card.
No, you do not need an enhanced driver's license if you have a passport card for identification purposes.
There isn't an age limit, you just have to have medical need.
Generally, you need an additional form of ID, a copy of your automotive insurance card, DOT medical card (this only applies to CDL holders), and proof of residence (e.g., a phone or utilities bill).
They would need a medical card if the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating was over 10,000 lbs, AND it was being used for commercial purposes, AND it was being operated across state lanes.Beyond that point, once you get into weight ratings requiring a CDL, then you'd need a medical card at all times.
Your medical card has to do with your medical condition and has nothing to do with air brakes. Air brakes is an endorsement on your license. To qualify for driving a vehicle with air brakes, you must first complete a written test on air brakes and when you pass that test, your license can receive the air brakes endorsement. There are also endorsements for HazMat, combination vehicles, motorcycles, school buses, etc.. But regarding your medical card, it has its own expiration date separate from your license and its duration depends on your prior medical condition. If you have perhaps Diabetes you may be required to see a doctor every month to keep your license. High bloodpressure, or sleep apnea also affect your medical card. If you are healthy you may need to renew it once in three years depending on the state in which you live.
a license to practice medicine, and a board certification
Usually, no, although that's something which could vary by state. You would need to contact your state's DMV 1: to see if they even have a chauffeur licence (not all states do) and 2: to see if a DOT medical card is required.
I need to know a few things on license requirements for medical prpfessionals
