A family is a social institution with a bond of common beliefs,religion,customs,culture,language & a way of life.It carries on the heritage & traditions as legacy from earlier generation to the next generation & in its conservative traditions.
Often multicultural social communities or impact of the changing trends in society erode some traditional moral values.
It depends on the social & moral values that a family upholds that determines moral values inculcated in the life of young ones. Joint families that do not cherish or uphold morality may imbibe immoral way of life in the social community they live in.
More than a family the social community& peer groups help to imbibe morality in young children.
