the glasses that you wear have lenses
No, barware glassware does not break easily. These glasses are made to look like glass, but are actually acrylic, which gives the glasses durable construction. These glasses are great for pool parties, bars and restaurants, where glasses could easily be broken.
When you say "glasses", it is plural. A "glass" is one of the lenses. "Glasses" would refer to both of the lenses, and a "pair of glasses" doesn't mention anything about the frame, but it mentions the two lenses. The frame is the object that joins the two lenses so you don't have to wear contacts and so it can stay on your head. When you say "a pair of glasses", you are referring to the "pair of lenses", not the frame. The frame holding the two lenses makes us think that it is one object, when the word "glasses" refers only to the lenses, not the frame. That is why it is called "a pair of glasses".
Contact lenses is another way to correct vision besides wearing glasses. I am nearsighted and can't see anything without my glasses. It corrects my vision and I don't have to worry about having my glasses break

If someone has told you that Waterford Crystal Wine glasses are good purchases, then they probably don't break easily. If you're wondering, check out a local wine store and as a representative, they'll be able to tell you which glasses are the best quality wise.

It is better to wear contact lenses for sport but if you are unable to, or do not want to, wear contacts, make sure that you buy Polycarbonate lenses for your glasses. Polycarbonate is 12 times stronger than regular plastic and will not break or shatter if you take a fall.
