Surface tension causes molecules to hold to themselves more tightly. Therefore high surface tension liquids, like pure water, will form a taller drop and low surface tension substances, like oil, will spread out and be flat.

What type of matter is oil and vinegar?

Oil and water are both liquids Perhaps you are asking about the mixture that they can produce under some circumstances. This is an emulsion, where tiny drops of one liquid are spread through the other.

How can you tell if an object is an insulator?

Different combinations of elements form different types of bonds. Ionic or covalent bonds in solid materials result in materials that have low electrical conductivity (hence are good insulators). Metallic bonds are the kind that produce high conductivity. Liquids may be electrically conductive to the extent that they contain dissociated ions. Liquids that are non polar and contain no ions will be good insulators.

How does changing the slope of the stream table produce different results?

Changing the slope of the stream table affects the speed and direction of water flow. A steeper slope creates faster water flow, which can result in more erosion and deposition. Conversely, a flatter slope slows down water flow, leading to less erosion and deposition. These changes in flow dynamics can cause differences in the shape and size of channels, as well as the amount and distribution of sediment carried by the water.

How does the circulatory system aid in the production of energy?

the circulatory system is responsible for the distribution of all "fuels" in the body. These include gases (oxygen, etc), liquids (alcohol, juice, etc), and solids (sugar, caffeine, etc). All foods, gases and liquids that enter the body need to be distributed to other places ( like muscles, lungs, individual cells, etc.) to produce energy. If we don't get foods (and other things) from our stomachs\intestines to our muscles- we wouldn't be able to move. Simple as that
