With the present state of sleep research the only answer is "probably, yes." The mind has access to memories and fantasies related to all five senses, which may be experienced in dreams. Because dreams are generated directly within the mind without depending on the physical sensory organs (eyes, ears, etc.) persons who have lost physical hearing, taste, smell or sight continue to experience those senses in dreams.
I don't know about others, but myself.... I am usually fairly numb to my senses when I dream, sometimes there are smells or textures... I usually have intense emotional and 'thought provoking' dreams, like my mind is usually wild with thought when Im dreaming, I suppose people with a quieter mind may be more involved with their senses? I have a very active mind and imagination even when I'm awake, I have only ever had a few dreams where I could fully 'feel' through it as though I am awake, involved with each sense... my dreams get wild though and I remember a lot of them, it's possible that we dream with all senses but then forget the experience afterwards, I have to ask this question myself to find out.
Yes, most people with synesthesia have the "five senses", unless of course they have a disability, in which case they would obviously not.
seeing
touch
Yoshi
No. Most people do dream, but depending on the sleep cycles, not all people remember their dreams when they wake up.
for me it should be the ear and nose because a normal human got five senses:eareyeskinnosemouthand ear and nose is the most sensitive part for human so,it is the part of body that sends the most info to the brain.
false
Touch is probably the most fitting.
i dint know
Most people dream in color. Studies have shown that about 80% of people dream in color while the remaining 20% may dream in black and white or shades of gray.
Dreams can reproduce all of that body's senses. While we are used to "seeing" and "hearing" things in dreams, the mind can just as easily include our senses of touch, taste and smell in dreams. In this particular dream, your mind provided a very realistic sense of warmth of another person's body. But it is just as much an illusion as if you saw or heard someone in the dream. As far as what the dream means, in most cases, this probably would be a sex dream.
Jesse McCartney is definitely the most successful of the five band members.
