Statistically (or should I say "Stir-tistically) the average stay in jail is 30 to 45 days. That doesn't necessarily mean that YOU will stay in jail that length of time, of course.
If you are "well-behaved" in prison, then most people are eligible for parole in 75% of the jail time, so it would be 13 and a half months.
There are some titles you do not want your hometown to be labeled with. One of which is the city that has had the most mayors serve jail time. That is a title currently held by Camden, New Jersey.
Yes, most people do in jail just as outside.

This depends on the state where the driving offense occured and what offense was commited. After your second driving offense of driving after revocation, you would most likely serve jail time.
There is no set jail time for specific offenses. In most states, a second DUI is a misdemeanor and punishable by up to one year in confinement.
it depends on were you are. but for the most part none at all.
It is more like 50% - my boyfriend's sentence got put down to a misdemeanor - they took off 50%, but nothing has changed.. also expect lots of changing dorms/rooms and accidental misplacement into more of the intense lockdown parts of the jail... be ready for anything and stay humble, that way you will just serve half your sentence, hopefully - hope that helps - the 3-10 day rumor is just that...
The main difference between a jail and a prison is the length of stay. Jail is mostly for inmates that a serving less than one year and prison is for inmates that are sentenced for more than one year. This is not a hard line, but it is a good rule of thumb. Most felonies will get you a sentence that is more than one year and most misdemeanors will get you a sentence that is less than one year.
was that government should serve the people
