Do narcissists tend to hoard their belongings in one area of the house?

My wife, a malignant narcissist, had demonstrated the most profound hoarding behavior I could have ever known. She threw away NOTHING.

I ended up turning a spare bedroom into a "closet" for her "stuff". When emptying a pack of cigarettes she would keep the empty boxes with one "lucky" cigarette left in the pack. Pens, pencils, lighters, paperclips... whether they worked or not, were kept. She had every article of clothing since childhood and absolutely refused to even consider parting with any of it. A rat died and decomposed in one of her shoes in the attic. She flipped her lid when she found it in the trash can and immediately retrieved it and put it into a plastic bag to be taken care of when she felt like addressing it.... which never happened.

She hid money, collected worthless coins, worthless pieces of anything... kept them. She denied me sex but a few times a year where she insisted I wore a condom. Yet I found dozens of used pregnancy tests, and worse yet, I found three packages that used to contain the 'morning after' pill(abortion pill) with the prescription attached and placed back into the brown paper bag and neatly tucked into one of her boots or some other hiding place. She kept reminders or 'trophies' of her affairs. I found hotel room receipts, hotel card keys, love letters. Her refusal to throw anything away was her undoing. How anyone could deny the truth when evidence was in front of both our faces was extraordinary... but she would. I've never seen anyone lie with such a 'drama queen' face, acting as if anyone that didn't believe her was insane.

In the end, she ran off with her best friend's boyfriend, filed a restraining order on me to get me out of the house and had her family come and move all her crap out... which took two solid days.

I can spot a Narcissist a mile away now... if you should find one, run away. I was foolish to wait 14 years. Very foolish.
