I'm 15 and I just got mine pierced at arbuckles on Friday and it didn't hurt one bit, but they pierced it in the wrong spot, so I had to take it out. I did go and get my otherside of my nose done yesterday at Harcore and It hurt to take out the ring for the first time but it didn't hurt at all to get it pierced again....

Nose Piercing Pain

I have my nose pierced and it was done with a needle. It did not hurt one bit. All you really feel is presure but no sharp pain. With a gun, it is not recommended becasue the whole is not as clean as a needle would leave it. I have had friends that pierced with a gun and had their skin grow around their piercing (not a good look) plus infection and pain start to set it. So i very much recommend to pierce with a Needle. At a location that is clean and profesional. I love my piercing. The healing is about a month.

Depends. Doing it yourself? It can While I was doing it there was sharp pains here and there.I didn't just shove it threw because I was paranoid that I'd poke the other side.Which is painful. So that could be why it hurt. It bled a little. I've heard professionaly doesn't hurt as much. It's certainly safer (and smarter) Read up on them before you do it,even professionaly.Figure out where you wan't it.And be SURE you really want it there ;) I've had mine sence January. No problems yet =D

Answer

Yes, I've done many piercings and I've been told that the nose piercing can be one of the most painful.

Answer

All piercings automatically hurt to some degree. People may tell you that something didn't hurt at all, but that doesn't mean it would be the same for you. Everyones body is different, so think about your pain tolerance. Also, if you really want it, you can handle the pain for as long at it hurts. If it is worth it to you, than you should do it. If not, rethink a piercing.

Answer

It All Depends On Your Tolorance Of Pain But Most People Say It Hurts Really Badly.

Answer

i got mine done when i was in 10 grade and i didnt think it hurt at all i was really scared but it was really fast and you cant even feel it when they put you ring in. it bleeds alot like a nose bleed but it really don't hurt and its worth it.

Answer

I just got mine done yesterday by a professional. It wasn't terribly painful. I try to aviod pain at all cost and so I was freaking out for like three hours before I got it and then it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. I have a pretty low pain tolerance and it was just some pressure and a pinch as he put the needle through and then another pinch when he put the stud in. I don't think it is as bad as many people make it out to be, but I highly recommend getting it professionally done with a needle not a gun. It's a little swore today but we will see how it is in a couple weeks.

ANSWER

I got my nose done back in June for my 15th birthday. It wasnt that bad I was a bit scared from what people were sayin to me tryin to freak me out. The guy I went to was sweet. Told me a few risks of getting it done. While i was sittin in the chair he cleaned the area and marked a lil x on where it was gonna go. i looked in the mirror and said it was fine. he told me to take a depp breath. While i was blowing the air out that's when he pushed the peircing needle in and pulled the ring in threw the top. I'll admit it did hurt for the fact that yes a needle was being shoved threw skin. Only my left eyes (where i got the piercing at) only teared up. Sometimes you bleed sometimes you don't. I did a bit but not overly bad. And when i got mine done i flet the pop up to my ears. hope i helped some. Everyone is different with it hurts you or not is on your body type to handle pain. If you want a peircing done then go for it.

well im 13 and my birthday is in January and i got mine done for my birthday. for me it wasnt bad at all. i barely felt it, but they were very clean. make sure you check out the place first. if you have your cartilage pierced it feels NOTHING! like that. for some people it hurt a lot. but i have had very good luck with mine! mine wasnt even red after i got it done! good luck, make sure to clean it every day!!!(:

answer<3

Im 13 and i havent got mine done yet supposed to though in this week.

but if you look on YouTube about if it hurts you will see that there are children ranged 10+ who don't cry or scream they just act normal and don't freak out. So if your about to go get yours done just don't freak out when you get there just know that when the needle comes to be calm and remember it only takes a second.

answer :)

No it didn't hurt at all i got mine done for my twelve birthday and was really worried but it happens so fast that you don't even get to feel the pain, i got it done with a needle as it is said to be safer but i think it hurts less with a gun though that can cause bruising.

then it closed up like a million times so i did it again myself without a flinch, its normal to be worried at first but you will wonder what all the fuss is about after!!

I had my piercing with a gun and still have it, it may not be the professional way but I think it's better than the needle. I actually didn't have a choice they gave me the gun as soon as I asked for the piercing it really didn't hurt and it was over and done with within 14 second including time for me to say 'I don't want it done anymore!'

I also had cheap nose studs as the expensive ones ruined my nose, but now it's ok.

honestly, it doesnt hurt a bit to have your nose pierced. I had mine done just before the Christmas holidays and i really built myself up to expect loads of pain, but because i had it done with a gun it didnt hurt at all. you're supposed to get your nose pierced with a needle but i had mine done with a gun and that's probably why mine didnt hurt at all. don't build yourself up to have a lot of pain because honestly it just does not hurt one bit its just shock.

Try pinching your nose where you would get the piercing and it would hurt about the same amount or a tiny bit more

but don't pinch too hard or you'll have a mark there

I had my nose pierced with a gun (which isn't allowed in most tatoo shops.)

I am terrified on piercings and needles but I honestly didn't feel a thing.

Now I had 4 piercings on 1 ear 3 on the other and 1 in my nose and getting my tongue pierced in a few years (too young).

The woman went to pierce my nose and I pulled away yelling I don't want it done, she promised me it wouldn't hurt and she was right it didn't.

On a scale of 1 to 10 it would be 3

only because of the effect after once I was alseep I woke up and scratched it on my pillow. so really I'd say about 1 really.

And it was only £10.00

Without a painkiller, YES. An ice cube, held "on target" will numb your nerve-endings long enough to successfully pierce your nose. It will also reduce bleeding and the resultant swelling caused by this minor trauma to your sensitive nasal area.

I got mine done when i was 13, and there are two options.

you can either get it done with a needle, or with the clamp.

Alot of people say that the needle is more painless, but I got mine done with the clamp, because it's over in just a second and it really only makes your eyes water.

You don't feel the pain for very long after, it might be a bit tender for the first few weeks, but don't work yourself up about it, it's not as bad as some people make it out to be.

Just remember to keep it clean, disinfect it, and try not to get it caught on anything (that hurts!)

The other good thing is that if you're sick of it, just leave it out and it should shut within a few days, If the school uniform policy is an issue, just buy a clear stud.

Hope this helps :)

A: I would have to say "NO" ! piercing your nose is pretty much painless (atleast i think so, cuz i got mine done professionally with a needle.) All it does is make your eyes water but when it is all done and over with i was like WOW that was a lot easier than i thought! i was 14 when i got mine done and if i could do it at that age anyone could do it haha i think piercing your ears and nose are pretty much about the same level of pain.. if on a level of 1 to 10 of pain it would be a 2 for me:)
well nose piering can hurt but they also cant it really depends if you are tough or not or if you have sensetive skin meaning like delicate or anything like that but for me it didnt even hurt i had a little tear in my eye but it was over within like 1 minute so yea.. if you are going to get it pierced just dont be scared and dont freak out just stay tough maybe even bring a friend to hold there hand...

In a simple yes or no format the answer is yes. However, when it comes to pain nothing is that black and white. I personally have several piercings, many in "painful" areas, but for the most part, none of them really hurt the first time. My septum brought tears to my eyes, but most pain in your nose will do that. My ear stretching was far more painful than the piercing, guns hurt worse than needles and I would love to have all piercings done above a ten gauge. Even though the above statements are all true, they are only true to me. Some people find needles excruciating, others feel that stretching is painless, still more will say that their piercing hurt so badly that they will never get another done, no matter what they had pierced. It's all based on your pain tolerance and your perception of pain. Anytime someone sticks your body with a steel rod it's going to hurt, at least to some extent, the higher your pain tolerance, the less pain you feel. The only way to tell how badly it will hurt you without piercing it is to pinch what you want pierced as hard as you can and then multiply it by two to five times and that's what you're going to feel, generally.
