Oil companies use long-haul applications
Oil Companies use science by burning oil, which is a chemical reaction and therefore is science. :D
I work for an Oil & Gas company and we use it.
An oil used to dilute essential oils for use in massage and other skin care applications.
Food grade mineral oil is specifically refined and approved for use in food-related applications, ensuring it meets safety standards for consumption. Regular mineral oil, on the other hand, is not intended for ingestion and may contain impurities that could be harmful if consumed. Therefore, food grade mineral oil is more suitable for use in food-related applications due to its purity and safety for consumption.
Companies use palm oil in their products because it is a versatile and cost-effective ingredient that helps improve the texture, taste, and shelf life of many food and cosmetic products.
An NPR diesel uses a 15w-40 weight oil in most applications. Gas engines use 10w-30.
Obviously, the owners of big oil companies have a bias in favor of the continued use of oil. However, people who are privileged with electricity, or a car, are tacitly in favor of oil by their use of these luxuries.
Fracking is a comparatively cheap method for obtaining oil and natural gas.
Different companies use different procedures. Some companies use expeller pressing, and put the entire avocado through a screw press, extracting an avocado oil (of dubious quality) which they can call "cold pressed". Some companies (such as Olivado) actually remove the skin and stone from the avocado, then cold press the flesh to extract a high quality oil.
YES! "Regular" oil is what is mixed with synthetic to make semi-synthetic. Try to use the same brand. I've heard it's not good to mix the different additives that different companies use.
Because we would need less fuel. Less Fuel = Less money for Oil companies
The exploration, extraction, refining and use of oil (and oil by-products), is killing the planet, due to pollution. Though this is not the true reason why oil companies are searching for alternative fuels. The real reason is that the worlds oil reserves are shrinking and whoever controls the oil, controls world energy resources. A country could basically be held to ransom by controlling the supply of oil to that country. Therefore, oil companies need alternative fuels for the future, so that there will be a future.
