The people holding the pointer will unconsciously move it slightly. As soon as one person accidentally twitches it a bit the other person feels the movement and believing the Ouija is doing it adds a little bit more movement. The first person now senses movement and responds and they're off, back and forth. It is made of dead wood and plastic, has no brain or sense organs, and can't predict anything unless one of the operators has a clue.

you can buy it at target, who ever wrote this answer is not specific enough, you don't have to buy a ouija board, you can make one. I made one before but be careful you sometimes regret it. One time i was talking to the ouija board and i said " who am i speaking with?". The glass i used for the board went to S,A,T,A, and N. I was terrified. My dad said if you use a ouija board you can bring evil demons or ghosts to your home. So i wouldn't recommend for anyone to buy or make an ouija board.
