Answer#1Yes, both drugs stimulate the opioid receptors in the brain leading to pain relief.

Oxycodone (CII) is about twice as potent an analgesic an hydrocodone (CIII).

Both may be possessed only with a valid prescription; it is a violation of Federal Law otherwise. Both substances are highly addictive, with eventual physical dependence almost 100% likely.

What does hydrochodine help?

Hydrocodone is primarily used to relieve moderate to severe pain. It is an opioid medication that works by changing the way the brain and nervous system respond to pain. It is important to use hydrocodone as prescribed due to the potential for addiction and other side effects.

Will narcan remove all opiates from your body?

It does not "remove them from the body" - It attaches itself to the Opoid receptors in the brain much better than pure opoid agonists (like hydrocodone, oxycodone, fentanyl, etc.) therefore stopping/blockading their effect on the body. It is an opoid antagonist.

What are the harmful effects of snorting Hydrocodone?

DANGER: DO NOT SNORT HYDROCODONE in the form of VICODIN or LORTAB or any other acetaminophen binded hydrocodone. This is because 99% of it is acetaminophen which is tylenol. It will cause permanent liver damage. Snort Hydrocodone binded with ibuprofen such as Vicoprofen or anithistamine such as Chemdal HD. Actually Oxycodone will give you a much better and faster high. Although same applies. (Combunox/Percodan/Endodan/Roxiprin over acetaminophen binded Percocet, Endocet, Tylox, Roxicet)

What is the difference between hydrocodone 10325 and Roxicodone 10325?

Lortab is Hydrocodone. Oxycodone is a bit stronger. 1 and a half times more strong is an average. The 2 meds are both partially synthetic opioids but they work a bit differently in the brain to provide pain relief They will show up differently in a urine test as well if the proper test that differentiates is used.

What happens if you take Gabapentin with oxycodone?

Gabapentin is made to heighten the performance of opiotes such as oxcodone. When you take gabapentin (nuerontin) in rendission of pain meds it makes the pain meds feel stronger and last longer due to its neurological aspects. Gabapentin is used for back pain or other pain problems whether it be alone or used on the side of another med. Gabapentin sets off neurological impulses in the brain and when you have pain, those impulses do not fire because the message is being sent to your brain previously to taking this med saying well gee i am hurting here so once gabapentin comes along it shuts off or stops those impulses from sparking until the med wears off. I take 900 mg 3 times a day and it is non habit forming. I also take 20 mg of Oxycontin twice aday so i can safely say that it just makes the oxycodone or oxycodone HCL last longer and work stronger. So in the long run its fine to take the 2 meds together.

How long do Roxy pain pills stay in your system?

GENERIC NAME: oxycodone and acetaminophen BRAND NAMES: Percocet, Roxicet, Tylox, Endocet DRUG CLASS AND MECHANISM: Oxycodone is a narcotic analgesic (pain-reliever) and a cough suppressant that is similar to codeine and hydrocodone. The precise mechanism of pain relief by oxycodone and other narcotics is not known. Acetaminophen is a non-narcotic analgesic and antipyretic (fever reducer). Acetaminophen relieves pain by elevating the pain threshold. It reduces fever through its action on the heat-regulating center of the brain. The combination of oxycodone and acetaminophen achieves greater pain relief than either taken separately. For more information on acetaminophen, please see acetaminophen (Tylenol).
