Do people care they are obese?

Of Course people care if they are obese. Don't skinny people care that they are skinny. Most Americans believe that obese people are often lazy and have no control over what they eat. That is not true. You could have medical conditions limiting you to what you can/can't eat or if you can exercise. Just like skinny people, obese people care about their apperance. (especially women.) Skinny people don't want to wear baggy clothes making them look bigger whereas overweight people dont want to wear skin tight clothes showing their stomach. Lastly, obese people care that they are obese because they are treated differently. In magazines...you don't always see when Oprah might give $1,000,000 to a charity but if she gains 10 pounds...it's on the cover of every tabloid. Obese people are still humans and still have the same characteristics as a skinny person therefore, concluding that they DO CARE if they are obese.
