No. At least the odds are very very very unlikely. Most genital sores are caused by Sexually Transmitted Diseases like Herpes. Chlorine may irritate them, but chlorine will not cause them. if you have any genital sores you should avoid sex with others and have them checked out by your doctor immediately. I meant the doctor should check out the sores, not the others. Although that may not be a bad idea! Good luck.

It could be a bacterial infection. (assuming you have had recent sexual contact with someone else and failed to practice good personal hygiene by cleaning up shortly after) irregardless of whether you used protection. Or it could be genital herpes. In either case, play it safe and have a full spectrum std test ASAP.
