Well, when god created the human being, he created him with unique characteristics.

one of the main unique characteristic that god gave us is that we can thinks and are able to brainstorm lots of ideas more than other creatures. Now you might be right on what you said. Parents "especially" try to raise their children on the same religion and tradition that they were taught when they were young.

Now here, this does not meen that if our parents taught us the religion they believed in, we don't think anymore. At this point, you as a person are responsible to think and choose the path that you want to go in. The path you choose might be right or wrong!

so to choose the write one, you should ask lots of questions that you think are important.

now don't ask your parents!!

ask the priests, Imams, Religion people, people who teach religion.

and ASK the same question to different people from different religions. so that you choose the wright one.

While childhood upbringing can play a significant role in shaping one's religious beliefs, it is not the sole factor. People may also adopt or convert to a religion later in life due to personal experiences, spiritual seeking, philosophical exploration, or cultural influences. Additionally, individuals may question or modify their religious beliefs as they grow older and gain new perspectives. Ultimately, the reasons for belief in a religion are complex and can vary from person to person.

No. There is no rule book for parenting, but I would say that a good general rule is that a parent should not "make" their children believe in anything.

probably not because that's pretty violent for parents to be teaching their children.

Do you really believe The Bible?

For all of you who are RELIGIOUS, please watch this movie. The ENTIRE movie. And please consider for one second that religion is created by man. How is it that there are so many religions and why is your religion right? Consider that your parents were taught religion by their parents and their parents and so on and so forth. Children always believe what their parents say but what if your parents were wrong? What if everything you think you know is wrong. Please watch the movie and then if you still believe in your faith then continue to do so.

Why would it be beneficial to choose your own religion than be made to?

Because it depends on what you beleive and in who you believe. You shouldn't be forced to follow a partiular religion because maybe you don't like that religion or do not believe in it and want to change to some other religion. Sometimes as children we follow the relion of our parents, then at some point in our later lives we find a religion more suited to our own beliefs. If you feel that a change will benefit you then it would be benificial to tell your parents of your deire to make that change. They will understand that you have to follow your heart if they are true Christians.

Do people use their brains in choosing a religion?

Yes, because you have all the right to believe in what ever you want. Your parents have no right to get involve in this problem because that is your religion not theirs.

Why do kids attend schooled based on their religions?

Presumably because their parents want the children to be educated in their religion.

Should infants be made to join a religion?

Some parents believe that their child should be introduced to religion at an early age in order to begin and maintain a strong faith in that religion. Other parents believe it should be left up to the child when he or she grows old enough to make the decision for him or herself. It is up to the parents to decide what's best for their child. I personally would not introduce my future children to religion at such an early age.

Why do parents think they have the right to force religion on their children?

The kid is not not an adult so the parents make the child's decision. But nothing says the parents will choose the right religion.

Is it right for parents to choose their children's life partners?

It depends on whether the parents and children are in a certain religion. Because a few religions have the parents choosing life partners for their children. But if they haven't got a religion which says that they can choose their children's life partners, then it is wrong. At the end of the day, they can suggest who they want their kids to go with, but nothing more. Their children has the right to say who they want and who they don't, as ten to one they won't like the parent's choice.

Do you pass on your religion to your children?

You do not pass on your religion to your children, though most will stay with the religion of their parents until they make up their own mind whether to change ot not.

Why can you disown children and not your spouse?

Good question. Some parents believe they failed as parents to raise their children "properly" and believe they're better off alone.
