wiki answers is a very valuable website if you are doing a project or you need something to answer yet people are allowed to go on there and put any answer that they want to put on the internet just to fool with you it is pretty reasonable that it can fool you mess you up and get you bad grades but alot of answers are probably valuable.

Certainly people can post bad answers and untruths. Most of the supervisors are pretty knowledgable in their areas and will invalidate or cancel bad answers.

Anyone can put an answer to a question and there are some users who put random answers. WikiAnswers tries to correct these type of answers to the correct ones, but they can't be all caught so that is why you will find some incorrect or nonsense answers.
