Mainly the lungs and pancreas. For males it clogs tubes in the testes.
There is a lot of mucus build up in those tubes which does not allow for the tubes to be clogged.
In most men with CF (95%), the tubes that carry sperm are blocked, which causes infertility.
Although Cystic Fibrosis does not cause sexual impotency, it can lead to fertility problems. In most men with CF, the tubes that carry sperm are blocked, which causes infertility.
Because the mucus making cells does not work properly, they make mucus which is too thick. It causes problems in the breathing system by clogging up the lungs. It also blocks tubes from the pancreas which normally carries enzymes to the gut. The thick mucus makes them short of breath and they are also more likely to get chest infections
Over 95% of males with cystic Fibrosis are infertile. There are 3 reasons why this is true. 1) Often, the males lacks the pretense of his vas deferens, the tubes which move sperm from the testicles to the penis. 2) At other times, the vas deferens is blocked, and sperm are unable to pass through. 3) Finally, when there is a sufficient opening for the sperm to pass through, the sperm are insufficiently mobile and cannot make their way through the vaginal tract to the female egg.
Cystic Fibrosis can but not always lead to fertility problems. In most men with CF, the tubes that carry sperm are blocked, which causes infertility (approx 95%). Because underweight women are more likely to have irregular menstrual cycles, the nutritional problems associated with CF may affect fertility. hope this helps
It effects the body in a number of ways:(1) Lungs- It is common for people with CF to encounter some difficulties with their lungs. But a combination of physiotherapy and medication can help control lung infections and prevent lung damage. To avoid the risk of cross infection, it is recommended that people with CF do not come into close contact with others with Cystic Fibrosis, which is why in so many hospitals people with CF are segregated.(2) Digestive System- mucus blocks the digestive system making it hard for people with cystic fibrosis to digest food. This can be helped with the medicine "Creon" which is an enzyme which helps to break food down.(3) Meconium ileus- In every ten babies born with CF, one is ill in the first few days of life with a bowel obstruction known as Meconium Ileus.(4) Bones- due to the nutritional and other problems involved with the disease(5) Infertility- Although people with CF are not deemed as 100% infertile, most men with Cf are due to blockages in the tubes that carry sperm, which causes infertility. Because underweight women are more likely to have irregular menstrual cycles, the nutritional problems associated with CF may affect fertility.(6) Liver- Cystic Fibrosis can cause the blockage of small ducts in the liver. This only happens to approximately 8% of people who have CF, but it is a serious health risk and may necessitate a liver transplant
If you mean after it erupted, probably to explore the lava tubes which are breath taking. It was an amazing experience.
My fiance has cystic fibrosis and when planning our future, I couldn't imagine not having children and making our own family together. I continued research on the web and found that adoption may not be our only answer. Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), is the newest form of in vitro fertilization specified for males who have CF. Here is the website: http://esiason.org/newsResourcesInfert.html It provides the research information and even costs. I hope this helps out!
because the throat is connected to two other tubes, one which you breath from and one with you eat and drink, the nose is connected to the throat because people breath from the nose aswell as the mouth unless you are a mouth breather
Congestion in the lungs or (more likely) bronchial tubes.
