Yes, if they feel threatened.
Rats typically DO NOT BITE. They are very loving and friendly. I have had them for YEARS and YEARS. I've also had mice for years. They are more skittish and tend to nip fingers. Both are nice, but rats have the loyalty of a dog, and the intelligence of a cat. They're great pets!
They both can be trained and mice usually bite a more often than hamsters do.
if ur asking about the white feeder mice, yes they do sometimes bite they are slightly more aggressive than the "pet mouse" i have 2 pet mice and have had them around a year, i have never been bit. so long as u handle them gently and with care u shouldn't have any problems.
If you go to the pet store you will find mice for sale called "fancy mice" they come in many different colors and coat styles. Compared to most mice they are more calm and less likely to bite.
Dwarf hamsters are really mean and like to bite but mice usually dont if theyre from a pet store. trust me...i would know...

Pet TURTLES DO BITE BUT SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T HURT. Pet TURTLES DO BITE BUT SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T HURT.
