Soil has many inorganic and organic materials that can be used by the plants for their normal functioning. Soil also helps in hardening the root area so as to facilitate proper adhering of the plant to the ground.
On the other hand, water has lesser amount of nutrients in it. Plants thus get less nutrition and do not grow well. But plants can be made to grow well in liquid solutions containing proper ratio of nutrients. This process of growing healthy plants on a liquid media without the soil is called hydroponic cultivation.
plants grow better in soil because all the nutrients that are needed for it to grow are in the soil
Well veggies grow better in water. While flowers grow better in soil.
I can tell you that soil helps plants grow better than water because of all nutrients
soil is better
well it better in soil because soil has more nutrients
soil as there are more nutrients
The water from the soil will give off nutrients to the plants so they will grow nicely.
Plants generally grow better in soil compared to water, as soil provides essential nutrients, support, and stability for root growth. While some plants can be grown in water (hydroponics), most plants thrive in soil due to the balance of nutrients and oxygen it can provide.
Plants usually grow better with soil, as it contains nutrients which the plant draws on. Plants can be grown in a sterile mixture, but they need nutrients added to their water to grow. they can grow without soil because i did na science project and it growed.
