Probation departments use different methods of detection. Oral swabs (a chunk of hard cotton) is chewed and then tested on site with results in about 4-5 minutes. Urine test, are still used too. Both will look for metabolites of Cocaine, that is byproducts of cocaine after it's been metabolized by your liver. When you say the byproducts of cocaine use are you asking if they test for what the coke is cut with? If so no. It's much easier to look for the actual drug metabolites.
Good Luck!
Drug tests detect a metabolites which is basically what your body produces while a substance traveling around your bloodstream. 5 panel tests for : Cocaine ( includes cocaine, crack and benzoylecognine) Cannabinoids (includes marijuana and hash) Amphetamines (speed, methamphetamines and amphetamines) Opiates (heroin, opium, codeine and morphine) Phencyclidine (PCP)
you should be ok, but it really depends on your body, because most tests are looking for the chemical that your body releases when you ingest cocaine, which stays in your body longer then the drug itself..goodluck
Probation offices typically test for drugs, alcohol, and sometimes other substances through random drug testing to monitor compliance with probation conditions. These tests help ensure that individuals are maintaining sobriety and following the requirements of their probation.
The tests during felony probation are for the presence of illegal substances. This would include cocaine, heroin, and marijuana. It would also include various prescription drugs for which the testee does not have a legal, valid prescription. There are various over the counter drugs which can result in false positives for prohibited drugs. Certainly amphetamines are generally prohibited, but certain OTC drugs can give false positives such as Benadryl and Sudafed. It would be best to take even such items under a doctor's direction so that the probationer is not called upon to explain to a judge why the tests show the presence of a controlled substance. That runs the risk of a violation of probation and resentencing. ADDED: The short answer is: Opiates, Barbituates, Cannibonoids.
