To be honest, it never really gets that hot for the schools in the UK to close. Even if it did get really hot, I doubt they would send us home as they have air conditioners and wouldn't send us home because of heat.

yes, day schools are way better than boarding schools because they wont have to be separated by their parents and they can do many outdoor activities without leaving home. and when the parents send their children to daily schools, they wont have to worry about them because they will come back, whereas on the opposite side, when the parents send their children to boarding schools, they will worry day and night about their children.. and boarding schools suck like hell
