In the theory of how life began, scientists have theorized that DNA evolved through natural selection. The challenge remains to develop a theory to explain how RNA developed from the primordial soup which scientists believe constituted the Earth's surface 3.8 billion years ago. Did evolution start in space, in oceans, salt pans, volcanic exhalatives or in underground cavities?

because RNA depend to DNA.

How did the scientists verify the remains of the romanovs to be authentic?

Scientists took DNA samples from the remains of the Romanov family and compared them to DNA samples from known living relatives to know they were authentic.

How similar is human DNA to that of animals?

Human DNA is very similar to that of animals, as we share a common ancestry with many species. In fact, humans share about 98 of their DNA with chimpanzees, our closest living relatives. This similarity in DNA helps scientists understand the relationships between different species and how they have evolved over time.

How is DNA utilized as evidence to support the theory of evolution?

DNA is used as evidence to support the theory of evolution by comparing the genetic similarities and differences between different species. By analyzing the DNA sequences of organisms, scientists can trace evolutionary relationships and determine how species have evolved over time. This genetic evidence provides strong support for the idea that all living things are related and have evolved from a common ancestor.

How does the comparison of monkey DNA and human DNA provide insights into evolutionary relationships between the two species?

By comparing the DNA of monkeys and humans, scientists can identify similarities and differences that provide clues about the evolutionary relationship between the two species. The more similar the DNA sequences are, the more closely related the species are believed to be in terms of their evolutionary history. This comparison helps scientists understand how monkeys and humans are related and how they have evolved over time.

Why is DNA a useful piece of evidence in studying evolution?

DNA is a useful piece of evidence in studying evolution because it carries genetic information that can show how species are related and how they have changed over time. By comparing DNA sequences, scientists can track evolutionary relationships and understand how organisms have evolved and adapted to their environments.

Which scientists helped to determine the shape of DNA?
