Too many fishers are leaving nets in the ocean and sharks get caught in them and to survive sharks must keep swimming to force the seawater through their gills to separate water from oxygen. Also cutting off shark fins to make shark fin soup kills them.

∙ 12y agoSharks can die from various causes. They can be killed from harpoons or fish hooks, or may die from polluted water. Sharks can be eaten by humans, but large sharks are rarely eaten by other creatures. Death by starvation is pretty rare in sharks. Sharks usually stay healthy, however, they can sometimes get ill and die from parasites.
