Where were shih tzu puppes found?

Shih tzu puppies are found from looking in new papers, usually it talks about puppies that are ready to adopted. Some pet stores also have puppy shih tzus, but usually its more expensive. Shih puppies from a new paper can differ from $200-$800 (i think, because i got mine for $700) , while the pet stores sell them for thousands of dollars. A pound is where you usually find ADULT shih tzus.

Which dog has less health problems Maltese or shih tzus?

I think malteses are healthier and even have a longer lifespam compared to shih tzus living in the same conditions. This is one of the reasons why I chose a Maltese but if you really like shih tzus I can tell you that my neighbour's girl is already 9 years old and really healthy and playful, so always your care is important. Hope this helps. My shih tzu lived a very healthy life to 17 and a half years old he was born 92 he just died this year. so i don't know what you saying about them not living long lives. he was tied as the oldest dog ive seen in his pet commentary

Where do shih tzu' s come from?

Why does your shih tzu have a run off from her eyes that smells sour?

All Shih Tzus do that so it is nothing to worry about, but i think it is suppose to clean their eyes like tears clean our eyes except their run-off is red so it stains the fur. I don't know why it smells sour. But for my shih Tzus, i use Angel Eyes, which is little powder you put in their food. It helps alot with the nasty smell and even clears up their face a little. It is a bit expensive though. You can Find it in some popular pet catologs and definetly online.

What You Need to Know Before You Buy Shih Tzu?

The Shih Tzu, or "lion dog," is an adorable and popular breed. The average adult weighs anywhere from nine to 16 pounds and stands around 11 inches tall. While this breed is fairly active, they are a good choice for people who live in apartments or small homes. Most people decide to adopt a Shih Tzu based on its appearance and small size. There is no denying that most Shih Tzus are very cute. However, before choosing this breed, there are a few things that future dog owners need to know.Should You Buy Shih Tzu?Before buying a Shih Tzu, it's important to remember that adopting a Shih Tzu is a huge commitment. On average, this breed lives around 15 years. Unless you can commit that length of time to owning a dog, a Shih Tzu will not be a good choice.Shih Tzus are also very high maintenance. They are a long haired breed and require grooming once every four to six weeks. In between trips to the groomer, Shih Tzus need regular baths and brushings. Keep in mind that the average groomer charges around $25 to $40 for a trim, bath, and nail trimming. Unless you learn how to groom your dog yourself, you will need to consider this expense when adopting a Shih Tzu. Failing to groom a Shih Tzu will make the dog more susceptible to ear and eye infections.Another important thing to remember is that Shih Tzus do not like to be left alone for long periods of time. Many people consider this breed to be a lap dog breed. Because they are bred to be lapdogs, they adore their human family and thrive on attention. If you spend long periods away from the house, this may not be the best breed for your lifestyle. When cared for properly, Shih Tzus make great companions. They are active, loyal, and love attention from their owners. A Shih Tzu is a great choice for someone that wants a dedicated walking companion and playful friend, as long as they are willing to commit themselves to their new pet.

How can you describe the genitals of a female shih tzu pup from a male shih tzu pup?

Here are some compares to the female and male Shih-Tzus: FEMALE: They do bleed, sp make sure you don't have much carpet on your floor (diapers preferable! You can buy them in any pet store) They do urinate more than the male Shih-Tzus (they do tend to pee on beds lol) Most of their tails are down They don't stick their tongue out much Of course, they give birth to the puppies They are more hyper than the males MALE: They don't bleed at all They don't urinate that much Their tails are up They mostly stick their toungue out Of course, their mate gives birth to the puppies Not as active as the females Hope that help! :)
