Yes tpu case do scratch but hard shell and silicone do not
The safest case would be a silicone case that will not scratch or damage your iPhone and will help protect and cushion it should you drop it.

Yes
Depends on the case. Rubber or silicone cases can block the charge. Extremely thick cases can also block the charge.
Yes
This depends on the actual phone case. Silicone is in general more shock absorbant and would be my preferred choice. 1.silicone is softer than plastic one. It can be work like a cushion when it hits something. 2. I think plastic one is better on rejection of heat. 3.most DIY phone case based on a simple plastic phone case. If let me choose, I will choose a plastic one. actually, I am using a plastic one. :)
yes they actually are. their soft too (:
Try Displex Display Polish, it got the scratch out of my PlayStation 3, it also works on iPods and anything else that scratches.
Apple, the company that makes the iPod, sells iPods and cases directly from their retail stores. However, if there is not one in your location iPods and cases are available at most major retailers such as Target, Walmart, and Best Buy.
There are many excellent cases, covers, and skins available for iPods. I would suggest a case made of silicone that covers the entire player, as this will offer the most protection if it falls. A hard case is also an option, as it will offer more protection, but it will likely be more difficult to use.
There is no "regular" iPod touch, because they is a new one each year. Most iPods have different shapes, and cases for one will not fit another. Only the 2nd and 3rd generation iPods have the same physical shape.
