snails have an exoskeleton as all other molluscs do, which is what we call a shell. These shells unlike other animal tissues are not made of cells, rather they are composed mostly of calcium carbonate and a little protein.

Yes they do, some species also give birth to live young. Most snails lay eggs, some in and out of water.

No they are a mollusk not an arthropod and so do not have a cuticle. Their shell is secreted by the mantle.
