No because they are powered by solar energy! Hence the name 'Solar Car'
Solar cars refuel just by regaining energy from the sun. They use all of that energy to create fuel in order to run. Some solar cars refuel by using wind energy! Solar cars gain energy from the sun or from the wind to store the energy in their fuel tanks and they use up the energy to make fuel that allows them to travel for long distances! Solar cars have no limits on how many times they can regain energy from the sun or from the wind!
Solar cars gain energy from the sun or wind to make fuel or power that have been stored in their batteries or fuel tanks. They use the power in their batteries or fuel tanks to run during the day!
Solar cars gain the energy from the sun or from the wind to store it in their batteries or fuel tanks. They use the power to make fuel that allows them to travel during the day and night!
Solar hybrid cars seem to be something that would be beneficial when living in a sunny state. Here is a resource on solar hybrid cars in California: http://www.solarelectricalvehicles.com/contact-us.shtml
the energy that cars get is from the fuel
Since solar cars are powered by solar energy, the environment benefits greatly because of the greenhouse effect. Less vehicles on the roads burning fuel harming the earth's ozone layer.
To fuel the cars.
you can use solar power because 1 minute of sunlight is a year supply of solar energy!
probably
Mostly voodoo science. Solar energy is not powerful enough to power a real car. You can make some very light cars that are very small to go very small distances for brief periods. As an alternative to fossil fuel, it is dreaming. There is a race in Australia for solar powered cars that travel many miles. Though solar powered cars are impractical at the moment, research is being carried out. It may not result in solar powered cars but will improve the efficiency of solar panels
I'm guessing it is to make them more aerodynamic so you can save some of the solar energy.
