Its really what you think is the cutest or best name for your chao. You can make it cute, or you can get it off of characters from the Sonic Team (which I know some people did).

No, Sega needs to use all the characters they already have more often, for example, Marine was only in one game, Sonic Rush Adventure, and she was never playable. Sega sometimes forgets about some of the Sonic characters they have.

Why did people enjoy sonic x more than sonic underground?
Some people still see Sonic underground and some don't, but Sonic x is a brand new series that has better drawn skill of Sonic and his friends. Plus some new ones like Shadow The Hedgehog which is my all time favorite Sonic character.
