Not really.
Somethings weight is a measure of the mass of the object in a gravity field. therefore an object of mass 1 Kilogram will weigh 1 kilogram on Earth but only 1/3 of a kilogram on the Moon.
For this reason we say stars / planets/ moons etc have mass not weight as it is mass that is the invariant property of matter not weight.
yes

Not enough mass to collapse enough.light weight stars collapse only to a white hot ball of ordinary nickel-iron alloy, called a white dwarfmedium weight stars can collapse the atoms, forcing the orbiting electrons into the nucleus and converting protons to neutrons, this star is a ball of nearly nothing but neutrons called a neutron starheavy weight stars can collapse subatomic particles, only these stars can become a black hole
Stars do not have weight they have mass. Our Sun is said to be one solar mass or 1.98892×1030 kg. There are stars smaller than our Sun (read dwarfs) which can be down to 0.075 solar masses and stars much much bigger than the Sun (Hypergiants) which can reach 80-150 solar masses.
Its lifespan and its final form when it dies. Heavier stars have shorter lifespans and more spectacular transformations at death.
