Stars don't move at all, not even the sun. The Earth orbits around the sun to make it LOOK like the sun is moving. So no stars move.
Over tens of thousands of years, they do change shape, as the stars move around slightly while hurdling through space in our galaxy....

NO!!!! THey move. However, because they are so far away , we do not readily observe any movement amongstr the stars. Objects nearer toi Earth Like the Sun and planets, moons, etc., are seen to move because they7 are nearer .
because the stars move around and we cant see it staright
they dont move, we do. as we move around it seems to 'move'

Most asteroids orbit around stars and move faster than them.

Yes. Stars move themselves independently in space. Our own sun in fact is also moving through our Milky Way Galaxy.
