Yes. They will probably find the first safe place they can to hide (under a shed, behind a woodpile) but they will probably hang around for awhile as long as there are no dogs or other predators to chase them. You may be able to catch them again by using food to trap them, but remember they are nocturnal animals so your chances are better at sun down.

If a rabbit runs away it might come back for food but if someone sees it they will pick it up so you should put up missing signs.

Can a grasshopper be tamed?

yes, they can. the thing you have to do to tame it is to go in a small room and close the door, let the grasshopper out of the container, cage etc. after, keep holding it until it stops jumping then hold it on on your finger. if it stops jumping away from you then your taming is complete!

How do you train dwalf hamsters to not run away when you let them out of there cage?

Well you can try to find a way to scold your hamster. When you let it out of the cage and it runs away, scold it. If it doesn't run away praise it. You should do this everyday until it learns.

If my guinea pig has mites being treated but bites and doesn't let me pick him up so I can clean his cage how or what can I do to clean his cage?

Then, you have to hand tame your guinea pig. You have to take him out of his cage to clean it, and he has to get treated for mite or he will die. So you have to just take him out and play with him all the time.

Is it possible to let tame rabbits go?

NO! That would be like letting your dog go. Rabbits are very smart little things and could not survive. If you no longer want your pet, you should take it to your local Animal Shelter and they will find a new home for him or her. You should also have your Rabbit Spayed or Neutered for health reasons. Please do not just let your rabbits go.

Can you let rabbits out of their cages?

Yes, of course. You can't leave a rabbit in its cage for a straight 24 hours! It would be like staying in an airplane for eternity!Pet rabbits need to be out of the cage for at least 6 hours a day. All you have to do is let the rabbit out! That's it! And just leave the cage door open so he/she can eat/drink.When I leave my rabbit out, he just lays out on a nice, cool, piece of tile and stays there for a long time!

What will happen if two rabbits are in the same cage?

Not a good idea. They will tolerate their mates pretty well for awhile but are very territorial and will fight with strange rabbits, especially males. Males and females should be separated form each other by 3 months and by 4 months EVERYONE should have their own cage. The males should probably have their own cage at 3 months to prevent fighting.

How do rabbits get exercise?

How do you train your dog to not eat a rabbit?

At first, let the dog see the rabbit in it's cage. After the bunny stops running away when the dog comes pick it up and call the dog over to introduce them. If there isn't a tense feeling, you could let he bunny down, supervising carefully. After that, if there was no problem, you can let the bunny out and the dog most likely will be apathetic.
