a 99 is a different body style than a 2000 doesnt have the same radiator i do autobody i have worked on both models so no it doesnt
On a 1999 Ford Taurus : The engine coolant reservoir is between the engine and the passenger side of the vehicle . It has a thread on cap which is the pressure cap for the engine cooling system
if its the same as the lhs 97 model its on the overflow reservoir not the radiator its self the reservoir is next to the firewall on passenger side mine has a red relieve valve on a silver cap
In the front
The 1999 Ford Taurus does not have a radiator cap. Coolant is added by using the over flow bottle instead of a radiator cap.
You fill the radiator through the overflow tank.
It would be on the coolant reservoir.
There is no radiator cap on a 1999 Ford Contour. The cap to the coolant overflow reservior is the only way to add something to the radiator.
The low water level sensor is in your radiator overflow resivoir. The reservoir is supposed to have a certain amount of coolant in it but if it's low, the light comes on. This has nothing to do with the radiator being empty. True, if the reservoir is left unchecked the radiator may eventually become low and then you will overheat but until then, it's just telling you the reservoir is low.
If a lower radiator hose was replaced on a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan, but it is still leaking fluid, it could be that there is a hole in the radiator. It could also mean that there is damage to the overflow reservoir or its hoses.
The thread on cap on your engine coolant reservoir is the pressure cap / radiator cap on a 1999 Mercury Mystique
Its either in the coolant overflow tank or in the side of the radiator
It could be that the transmission cooler in the radiator is plugged.
