im American and i like the English. Some people think that English people are like too proper but that's only some people. Alot of my soccer trainers have been English and my friend is 50% English. I think alot of American people think that English people don't like them. xoxo

This is really more of a generalization or stereotype. Some Americans like the standard English accent and some do not. Just as some Brits like the American accent, and some do not.You simply cannot make the blanket statement that Americans like the English accent.

No, since many Americans, and many of the early settlers of the US were FROM Great Britain. The original 13 colonies were colonies of Great Britain. Sort of like you and your mother both speak English.
