There are no specific squadrons for humanitarian missions. The units that are deployed for humanitarian missions are determined by who is available, which of those units has the resources and capabilities ready at the time, then who is the closest to the area in need. Sometimes, smaller units that are closer might be deployed as a "first on the scene" group to perform preliminary aid, while a larger unit that has more capabilities and resources is still en route. When said larger unit arrives, the smaller units will try to integrate their resources and work on certain areas. For example, the smaller PJ unit might concentrate on a certain grid of the disaster zone, while the larger unit will help coordinate with the other rescue teams in the area by acting as a command and control center to help the rescue teams concentrate on the worst hit areas and to get them supplies when they run short.
