The falklands, as islands, have no land borders. As they sit about 400 miles off the coast of Argentina they are surrounded by high seas (territorial waters only extend out to 12 miles from land). However, the islands fishing and oile exploration rights out much further. These run up against the Argentinian claims halfway between the Falklands and Argentina.
