Tenerife is in the same time zone as the UK and, similarly, changes from Greenwich Mean Time to British summer time, too!
Euro is in use in Tenerife from 1 January 2002.
Flooding in Tenerife occurs mainly during heavy rainfall events when the island's drainage systems may become overwhelmed. Urban areas and valleys are particularly susceptible to flooding, which can lead to property damage and disruption to transportation and infrastructure. Climate change may also be exacerbating flooding events in Tenerife.
As the Canary Islands are on GMT as is the UK, there is no time difference between Britain and the Spanish Islands. As they are part of the European Union, the clocks go forward and back on the same dates as Britain and the rest of Europe, so there is no time difference at any time of year.
